The Gardens Are Planted

Yesterday, with the help of two of our lab's field assistants, and the company of my sister's dog Luna, we planted all 5 of our community garden plots! We will be using these plots to monitor for bees along with the citizen scientists, as well as answer some more specific scientific questions about bees in urban gardens.  It was a long, hard day, but I am very excited about how they look and getting the field season started!

Thank you to Natalie and Colton for all their help!

Thank you!

Thank you to all of those that came to the Monitoring Workshop at the DUG Horse Barn!  The first one was a great success!

Also! Stay tuned for another possible Workshop in June if you missed the first or or if you want a refresher!
